I like to work with different genres and people, because I find the human mind compelling. I like that although on the surface, the people and music seem different, it tends to be all the same basic human psychology, emotional dynamics, that we´re playing around with. In the core, it is exactly the same to me: to understand where the emotion comes from and what that person wants to tell you with their music. And then I can just lovingly follow that path to make it into a beautiful, manageable and compact form to get the most out of that statement.
